Which product for north alabama

Hi,

I was hoping you could recommend a general exterior product for my current situation. I have children and dogs, so safety is one of my main concerns.

I was thinking about Suspend SC, Bifen IT, or Demand CS (Would one of these be safer than the other)? Do you think boric acid baits like intice 10 are worth the effort?

Property:
- 2 story on a crawlspace
- Close to a stream
- surrounded by woods and fields

Problem Pests:
Every year, I get black carpenter ants that try to setup a satelite colony. I've been trailing these back to the source (usually a dead tree) and treating with Advion Ant Bait.

Smokey Brown Roaches

Webing Spiders and Wolf Spiders

I like to spray some natural areas for ticks and asian tiger mosquitoes.

Suspend SC, Bifen IT, or Demand CS (Would one of these be safer than the other)? They are all derived from the chemical class known as "synthetic pyrethroids. They are equally toxic. Demand CS is my preference for indoor spraying since it is microencapsulated. Bifen IT is the preference for outdoor spraying since it is cheaper.

Do you think boric acid baits like intice 10 are worth the effort? For American cockroaches yes, InTice or Niban bait works well. It does not work for carpenter ants at all. The best product overall for carpenter ants is the KM Ant Pro system. Advion Ant Bait will not work outdoors since it has no dispensing mechanism and is very short lived.
