My opinion is that anything designed to repel or kill insects, birds, etc is poison. Even if it is naturally extracted and is from a natural source. I would not recommend ingesting this product or feeding it to animals under any circumstance. To me, that question is like asking if a bullet is any less lethal if fired from a longer distance.... :-)
