Will Nuvan strips be effective in the attic if there are soffit and gable vents?

I have carpet beetles and have literally tried everthing on the market without success. 3 separate exterminator companies have given it every pesticide they have, inside and out, with no improvement. One company says they are in the crawl space and another states they are in the attic. I cannot find any nests in the attic that they like to feed on. I have spent $3000.00 and they are everywhere in my living space. Nuvan strips are the only thing I have not tried except for fumigation. Believe me when I tell you I have cleaned, vacuumed and stored clothing in bins. I bought a new mattress and bedding. I have no carpet, no pets, no wool, fur, feathers or other organic items they like. I am desperate since I have a severe allergy to the hairs.

Nuvan Strips are not the answer for your issue. If you have spent that kind of money with no results, they are coming from the outside. These beetles will feed on flowers, plants, etc. They are not always associated with carpets. In fact, in most cases they are not associated with anything. They are just there because the outside populations are so large. True carpet beetles seldom exist unless there is a source for which they can feed and propagate, which has to be that of animals or furs. What you are probably dealing with is a species of the dermestid beetle.
