Argentine ants - Use KM Ant Pro stations AND Bifen LP granules AND Taurus SC?

I have been using your KM Ant Pro stations around a new house in Davis CA for a couple of years with good results.
I have also been spraying, mostly inside, with Bifenthrin to control stragglers, which appear in small numbers unpredictably in new locations inside the house.

Would adding a fipronil (Taurus SC) building perimiter spray and bifenthrin granules in plantings (Bifen LP) add more effectiveness, or would these approaches conflict with the Ant Pro boric +.
I mostly run into trouble when the ants consume the Ant Pro bait before I check it. It seems that this happening more frequently lately - having to fill them up monthly - and was wondering if multiple layers of defense would be worthwhile, especially when I let the bait run out.
Until now, I didn't worry about the ants outside the house, but now I'm thinking these tactics might help. We're on the tidy end of the spectrum with just hardscape around the foundation - plantings are separated from the house by pavers/concrete.

Related question: I usually see a thick pool of bait syrup in the well around the base of the ant trap - is this typical, or am I setting it wrong?
I don't see it spilling out when I unscrew the bulb 1/2 turn once in position on pavers around the house.

(ants woke me up at 2 am by getting in my hair while sleeping on the floor to resolve back issues - why I am looking for more tools ;)

The issue with using any pesticides when baiting is that it 1) kills ants that need to be feeding and taking the bait to other ants and the colony. 2) disrupts ants natural feeding and disrupts their natural environment. Introducing and pesticides into or around a baiting system such as Ant Pro will render Ant Pro almost useless. If you are going to spray, then spray. If you want to kill the ants long term, don't spray, don't use and pesticides and continually monitor the bait stations.

If the liquid bait is pooling around the base of the Ant Pro, it is not set or Activated correctly. Here are the directions on how to install and activate them -

Thanks for making the time to provide correction so quickly. Everything you shared is in the instructions (d'oh!). I will be more diligent about monitoring and I have started weighing the bait stations to keep track of consumption/leakage as a short-term troubleshooting method. The "trouble" is likely user error ;)
