Is your dairy Certified Organic? Are you limited to using only natural products?

I have a couple of ideas. 1) Use Exciter Pyrethrum Concentrate as a dip (sponge on) and also as a spray. Pyrethrum will kill the flies on contact and also repel others. Riptide Concentrate is also a good pyrethrum choice and can be applied in the same manner. Both of these products are highly concentrated pyrethrum and many times stronger than anything you can purchase at a hardware store. They will make many gallons of spray or dip. They are also naturally based.
2) Super Concentrated Garlic Spray such as Mosquito Barrier could be sprayed onto the cows. It would not kill the flies, but could provide a great repellent barrier. There is no stronger garlic concentrate available. This product is considered 100% organic.
3) Drione Dust can be dusted onto the cows. It contains pyrethrum and Silica gels that are all natural, and could do a great job at killing an repelling flies. It is also naturally based.
I would try each of these products in the order I gave and see if you get fly relief. We have other products such as Vector Ban Plus that would also do a great job, but it is not natural and would not be considered organic. So if you are looking for natural products, the ones I recommended are about all that are available that I am aware of. Hope this helps.
