Drain gel kills bacteria - period. So good or bad, the bacteria is going to be affected. Why not place a screen over the drain when not in use to prevent gnats from entering the house?

with drain gel will it kill the good bacteria in the septic
We have gnats in the house and I think they come from our guest bathroom, because it is not used alot
