Hi Grace, thanks, for your candid review of our company. We do price match. So if you find something somewhere else at a lower price, at least give us a chance to match it.
Here are some factors that influence our prices -
1. Our prices include FREE Shipping.
2. Our products are manufacturer direct.
3. Our products are not old or outdated.
4. We answer our telephones with real people.
5. Our employees all love working here because we treat them so well.
So the next time you find something at a lower price, do you really want to take the chance that you are dealing with a mail order house sellling old inventory where everything is automated and you can't even talk to a live person? Thanks! We appreciate your business!
Ron

A bottle of boric acid (Borid or Boractin) will go a long way. How much will it do? That entirely depends on how you use it. Boric acid is best applied with a small hand duster. The way that it is applied, it very lightly. You don't want a pile of boric acid dust. You do want a very thin layer that the roaches will walk over. This way, when they groom, just like a cat or dog, they will injest it and eat it. That's how Boric Acid works. Boric acid is less toxic than table salt. As long a you don't eat it, then it won't hurt you.
As far as the gel baits, they are not inherently toxic. In fact, Maxforce FC Select, Maxfore Magnum, etc, are all used in very sensitive environments - daycare centers, nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants, etc. Don't be concerned about them being overly toxic either.
The amount of bait that you use is about the size of a pencil eraser. The number of placements per 30 gram tube is usually about 50. The amount on the 60 gram tube is double that. Again, there is no exact dosage or way to figure out how much to get, because it depends on how much you use. You could use an entire tube in your kitchen, or you could spread it out over the house.
Typically, a 1 lb bottle of boric acid will treat an entire house, (attic not included), with some left over. A 30 gram tube of gel bait, will also treat an entire house.
The boric acid will last indefinitely once opened. The gel baits need to be used within 60 days of opening.
Since you are on a budet, I would recommend to just buy the single baits and the single boric acid. A good hand duster will make the Boric Acid go much further. It also makes it easier to get it into the cracks and crevices.
Hope this helps.
