How well do granules like Bifen LP work in comparison to something like Bifen IT for perimeter treatments?
How well do granules like Bifen LP work in comparison to something like Bifen IT for perimeter treatments? Am I better off sticking with sprays? My home is surrounded by vegetation with the exception of the driveway.

It depends on what you are trying to kill. Flying insects, such as flies, mosquitoes, and gnats, are not affected by granules since they fall through the foliage to the ground. Insects embedded in the foliage or those that feed on plants will not be affected either. Liquid sprays such as Bifen I/T will saturate the foliage and do a much better job of controlling these insects. Ground insects such as Ants, pillbugs, centipedes, etc are better controlled using Granules. If you want control of all insects, use Granules first, then spray the foliage for a two-step control method.
