Demand CS will not stain vinyl siding. It applies at a very low rate. What tends to happen, especially on siding is that the chemical tends to cause "running" or "drip marks" if over applied. In other words, if you spray to much and the chemical runs down the siding, the surfactants in the Demand act like soap and actually wash the dirt away from the siding leaving clean spots, drips, runs, etc. So if you are going to use anything, be careful and don't over apply. This appears to be stains, but is actually washing siding clean.
A good way to do this is to clean everything first, power wash, etc, and then apply the Demand CS.
You really don't need a high powered sprayer to do this. You only need to apply a few gallons of Demand mix. Maybe 2 gallons total.
If you want something less expensive where you can blast the side of the house, then use Bifen. It's cheap and you can mix and blast away with your cannon sprayer.... :-)
