No you cannot spray it on surfaces you will come in contact with.

Spraying the patio furniture with an attractant insecticide would just bring the flies to you. Your best bet would be to use a granular bait in a station that you locate in areas away from where you lounge outside and a few feet off of the ground. The closest bait station i have to my patio is about 40 feet away. If you keep a trash can outside be sure it is closed tightly and no other food sources are available for the flies for the bait to be effective.

Another great product for flies outdoors is the Flies Be Gone Fly Trap. Just place them in areas away from the house. It has a strong attractant and you don't want to attract flies to the house. Using 2 or 3 traps works great.
