Premise and Termidor are both used on animals (the active ingredients) for fleas and ticks. Premise is sold as Advantix and Termidor is sold as ArmorGuard. So to say that they are safe for animals is sort of an understatement.
If you are looking for a "Green" termiticide, then the only product of its kind is Altriset by Dupont (Syngenta).
Stray cats, etc, should not be effected by any of these products.
You should be more concerned about fleas, ticks and animal borne pathogens and viruses.
