The label calls for 1 oz per 100 gallons of water for Japanese Beetles. I think that might be a misprint, as the normal rate for other insects is .75 oz (8.5ml) to 1.5 oz (17ml) per 1000 square feet. This is typically used in 1 up to 10 gallons of water. The overall rate of application on many ornamental insecticides isn't a dilution, it's the actual amount of product applied to a given area. So regardless of the amount of water, as long as the recommended amount of concentrate is applied to the area, the amount of water used is not a concern as it is only the "carrier" for the product.
