Do Hexpro termite traos need to be installed in driveways?
I currently have Sentricon termite traps and I am considering changing the Hexpro with shatter termite bait. The Sentricon traps are installed all around my house but the asphalt driveway is 23' wide and has no traps installed in front of or between the two garage doors. Do termites go under asphalt and should i drill a few holes in the driveway and install a few traps. I believe i saw a video on YouTube where they did that and installed some kind of stainless steel cover vs plastic over the trap. I can't remember which product it was.

I don't recommend installing termite bait stations in porches, driveways, sidewalks, etc unless there is no other option and the closest ground bait station to the area would be more than 50 feet away. Any time cement is drilled / cored, it causes permanent cosmetic damage. Avoid it at all costs unless there is no other option. If termites are present in an area like this and baiting is not an option, then consider using a liquid spot treatment to stop them.
