Shatter Termite Bait is basically heat compressed cellulose pellets. The pellets will stay firm in most situations up to a year or more or until consumed by termites. If the pellets stay dry, they will last longer. If they remain wet, under water, etc, then termites usually will not consume them and they will eventually separate and fall apart. It's best to make sure that the Hex Pro Termite Stations are installed in a dry area and not in a water saturated area for their longest possible life.
