It's possible that a dry coating of Timbor could hinder any foam application. I normally don't recommend Timbor for any wood that is going to be painted, sealed, etc, because of this.
My opinion is that Timbor is not the best product to use for Termite treatments in most situations anyway, unless cost and minimal application are factors.
Boracare is the way to go for most pre and post building applications for subterranean and drywood termites. It contains glycol that penetrates 2" into the wood. It will penetrate a 4x4" post.
Timbor only penetrates 1/4" if that. It will not penetrate 2x4's, but will penetrate 1/4 inch plywood.
Boracare treated wood can be painted, stained, varnished, etc 72 hours after application.
Hope this helps.
