It appears to be what is called a "Cigarette Beetle". These are food product pests that usually occur in whole grains, flours, dog food, bird seed, etc. Have you found more than these? There is a process for getting rid of food product pests. Here is an article on Red Flour Beetles, a cousin of the Cigarette Beetle. The treatment is the same, only the name is different.

They are probably coming from outdoors. If you live near a field or crop area this time of year its common for these types of pests and others to migrate towards homes and buildings. For some reason they accumulate around bathtubs, showers, window sills, etc. Spraying the baseboards won't do much if they are coming from outside. Using an insecticide such as Bifen IT and spraying the entire perimeter foundation, maybe the lawn and especially around windows, doors and eaves will help.

Although this pest is usually found in food items, they originate outdoors. They can enter through any crack, crevice or gap and crawl into the walls. That's how they end up in the bathtub.

I found a lot in the bathroom, last count was 52. 2 in kitchen. Dog food in sealed plastic container, no foods left available. Don't know where they're coming from. They get into the tub, can't get out. Cereals,rice, pasta all in containers. Frustrated! Would an interior spray along baseboards help?
