The standard answer on this is that after everything is dry, it is usually safe for animals and humans to re-enter the treated area.
The question becomes, what time of year to apply? Because in order to get control of grub worms, you have to apply the product when the newly hatched grubs are near the surface of the soil, and before the emerge down into the soil and away from the chemical.
There is usually a "window" of time that is about 3 weeks in most areas when you can apply the product and reach the newly hatched "worms".
If you let me know where you live, I can tell you when the window is.
