How to use KM Ant Trap in the garden or in full sun (our house has no shade year round.)

We have a glass and steel cube house. Ants are in the kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and up- and down-stairs baths. They crawl up the steel I-beams into the ceiling; they come out of sliding door tracks. We have a large ant hill on the front slope, and think they may have colonized the slab beneath the house, and be living in the walls (sounds like a horror film!) Found your site, and used pictures and descriptions (and a magnifying glass) to identify ours as Argentine ants. The map was very helpful as it confirmed they have colonized our areat - our house is in the extreme Southwest - San Diego, on the ocean, and gets full sun year round - no shade trees or awnings. The Ant Station directions include not to use them in full sun. How do we place them around the house and garden then?

The KM Ant Pro's can be used in outdoor areas under shrubs, decks, and in shaded areas. If you have to, you can create your own shade by making a cover, such as a trash can turned upside down or a plant container both with holes on at least 2 sides to allow the ants easy access.

You can also be creative, just make sure that the Ant Pro's are not in direct sunlight, as ants normally don't feed in direct sunlight. Sunlight will not affect the stations, just the ants feeding pattern.
