The Patriot is is designed to be used with pesticides that are "pre-mixed" and tested for use in misting or ULV devices. These products include Pyrocide 100 and Pyrocide 300, and a few others.
Almost any water based insecticide such as Riptide, Sector, Shockwave, Vector Ban Plus, can be used, as long as the product is not left inside the unit for more than a couple of days. It must be cleaned out after it use, or at least flushed out. These products are mixed with water to get a desired concentration before application.
Almost all of the "pre-mix" products that I mentioned have a light solvent base, mineral oil, etc. None contain any harsh solvents. Depending on what is used, harsh solvents such as Naptha, MEK, Laquer thinner, probably even paint thinner, would destroy the seals and pump. If you need more exact information, I would recommend to contact Barry at Unifix and ask him directly. His email is barry@unifixusa.com.
