Sedgehammer works well for Yellow and Purple Nutsedge. I have personally used it in my yard and have achieved control. It takes several applications, and the apps have to be made BEFORE the plant is fully mature.
Another great product is Tenacity. It works well too, and usually only requires 1 - 2 applications.
The trick is to BE SURE to use a surfactant when applying either of these products. A surfactant will help the product to stick and spread on the leaves. Spray without a surfactant is like spraying water on wax paper. It won't stick and just runs off.
