Flie larvae (maggots) will sometimes infest crickets when they are dead, and also it is possible that some sort of roundworm or nematode got into the cricket. Other than that, I would need a picture or speciman to determine what it is.

Use Larva Lur Cricket Bait - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/PR... around the perimeter of the home (outdoors) and indoors in hidden areas behind furniture, etc.

Also use ePest IPM Bug Traps to catch them - http://www.epestsupply.com/product/IP...
