Temprid is a residual insecticide that will last. CB 80 is a pyrethrum contact kill insecticide that has no residual. For carpets, rugs, etc, you need a residual insecticide with a growth regulator (IGR). Ultracide is the best combination of these materials to use on carpets and its easy to apply. Temprid is not designed to be applied to carpets, only for crack, crevice injection or point and spray. It does not have a wide fan pattern spray like Ultracide.
