Removing the clothes and going through each piece with a fine tooth comb or sending them to the cleaners is the first thing to be done. If you don't remove the clothes and treat the clothing individually or at least inspect it, you will never get control of the population.
The good news is that you only need to inspect clothes that are made of natural fibers such as those from animals, birds or cotton.
