Hex Pro Termite Bait Stations and Shatter Termite Bait are legal for use in California. These products work well in a chemical free and organic / natural environment. The Hex Pro system is the original Sentricon Termite Baiting system. The new Sentricon is called "Always Active" and is only available to licensed pest companies, but the original system works well and is available to anyone. Hope this helps.
