No, Bora Care will not penetrate stain or sealant of any type. It is water based. Any finish, paint etc will need to be removed before application.

can you use this product if the logs have already been stained.
we chincked and stained our log cabin last year and we now have signs of post powder beetles. Can we use this product over the stain or not?
