Can I treat the hex pro wood with borax before installation of the system, as another termite killing benefit
I have a periimeter barrier system around my house. trenched twice and injected with chemicals twice in five years, and keep up with quarterly pest control, along with myself taking care of ants, scopions, etc. However, we had termite activity through our drains a few times, we have a concrete slab. My service came out to treat the area, had them treat in the walls were all drains are located. However, I am mentally upset over the termites and want to add a second layer of defense. So I ordered the Hex Pro bait system. I was planning to dip the wood prior to installation with a mixture of borax, as another defense to attack the termites. Also, I plan on spraying dust mixture of borax and diatomacious earth into the wall of each floor drain entry from the slab, sink drain in baths, bath tubs, showers, kitchen sink, as another defense against intrusion. I'd like to know your opinion. Thank you. Joe
