There is no such thing as a termite bond. Get that out of your thinking. Terminix's termite guarantee is specifically stated on their contract. If you read the contract carefully and understand it, you will find that they really don't guarantee much of anything. And if you decide to sue, well, you signed away that right too. There is an arbitration clause attached.
Considering that Terminix in Alabama paid a $60 million dollar fine in 2020 for failing to do termite work at all on their customers homes.... it's up to you..... https://www.al.com/news/mobile/2020/1...
Termites are definitely an issue in Alabama. Sentricon is a great product. But once it goes into the ground, there is very little work involved in doing an inspection, if it gets done at all. This is a problem with most pest companies - the technicians in a lot of cases don't inspect all the stations. It's tedious work, stations are covered by mulch, grass, etc. Some are buried with dirt and don't get found.
Bottom line - You are going to end up paying thousands of dollars for something that you can very easily do yourself. That's because Hex Pro is the original Sentricon made by the same company. It's the retail version of Sentricon for "uncertified" pest control companies. It's not the Always Active version, but it's the original "Recruit" version that was introduced in the late 1990's. It still works.
I have to be careful with what I post on the internet about this subject. If you want to call me to discuss, feel free.
