Actually, it's one of the best times to inspect, primarily to make sure that the stations are not full of water, mud, etc. The stations need to be dry and the wood detectors need to be easily inspectable. Termites are not as active in winter months when the soil temps are below 60F, so the lack of activity means that an inspection would be less disruptive to them. I would do 2 inspections, one in November and the other in late winter just before spring to make sure that the "hook is baited". During the spring-summer, inspections in the spring and summer and recommended. Basically every 3-4 months year-round.
