Bora Care only kill the exposed larvae in the wood. It does not kill the pupae stage of the beetles. Any pupae that are in the wood at time of treatment are unaffected. When the pupae complete their life cycle, and the adult beetle emerges and exits the wood, you will find sawdust or frass. This is a normal occurrence. When all existing pupae have developed and the adult beetles have exited the wood, this will stop. Until then there is not much you can do. Fumigation with Vikane is the only way to kill the pupae. BoraCare will not kill the pupae.
