I've never heard of dragging for ticks. I'll have to Google that. :-)
The ultimate question is - what is more of a threat to you, your dogs and your family - a pesticide that kills ticks or the actual ticks? Bottom line is that as long as you have a tick infestation, deer, mice, whatever, that carries them, you'll have to wage war against them. There is nothing biological or natural that will control them. Spray away and keep spraying as often as necessary - weekly if needed to control them.
