Good luck making your own bait traps. The KM Ant Pro is specially designed and manufactured to withstand rain and the outdoor elements. Since the bait flows down into the feeding tray, making this with handyman products would take a real feat of creativity. I don't know how this could be done. I recommend purchasing the KM Ant Pro Kit and foregoing all of the creative and failure process. This has been done for you.
