The only way to get rid of powder post beetles in flooring is to treat the wood directly with Bora Care. If the wood has stain or varnish, it must be sanded and removed first. Bora Care is water based and will not penetrate stain, varnish, paint, etc.
It is mixed with 1 gallon of water (1:1) and then sprayed, brushed or rolled onto the wood. This 2 gallons of mix will treat 800 square feet of wood.
Once it has dried completely (72 hours), a damp rag or mop can be used to remove any top residue and then the floor refinished.
Sorry, the only other option is Tent Fumigation of the entire structure or replacing the wood. The needle syringe is for spot treatments only and would not work in this situation.
