In order for Hex Pro to work properly, pre-baiting has to be established with the wood detectors. Once the termites have fed on the wood detectors and about 50% is eaten, replace them with Shatter.
Shatter is not designed to last through the seasons like the new Sentricon Always active. In fact, when Shatter gets wet, it can get soft. So if the termites are not actively feeding at the station and you begin the process with Shatter instead of wood, you could end up spending a lot more money on bait.
My advice is to use it like is designed. It's hard to speed up the process with termite baits. It's kind of like taking vitamins or lifting weights. It takes a while to see results.... Hope this helps.
